Gangstarz last eviction hits LS3

LS3 could not secure a place at the finals of TV3’s Gangstarz reality show as the group was evicted on the very last eviction night on Sunday.

The three beautiful ladies’ performance of “Elivava’s world”, originally done by one of Ghana’s female artistes, Elivava, could not save them though the act was adjudged the best of all their renditions in the entire show.

On stage the girls were optimistic they were going to the finals but unfortunately results in the hands of MCs Vasty and Black Boy proved otherwise.

The group, three weeks ago, was tipped by the judges as one of the groups that would be among the final four, including obvious ones like Blaze and G-Girls, who had since the show proven themselves worthy of the ultimate prize.

That night, LS3’s performance of Nelly Furtado’s “Say it right” was pulsating. Unfortunately that could not take them a step further as they were sent packing.

Blaze, G-girls, Piper and Da Soul are the groups making it to the finals to battle for the ultimate prize. Blaze outshined all the others with the performance of the remix version of Asem’s hit song “Give Me Blow”.

In view of that performance BB observed that the group would be a ‘threat’ to the likes of Praye, VIP and Buk-Bak. G-girls would have come close, had it not been for their not-too-good performance of the song “Get It On”.

Da Soul and Pipers also sailed through with the songs “You Remind Me” and “I Don’t Wanna Know” respectively, originally sung by Usher and Mario Winans. Beatwaves would keep you updated on which of the four groups would win the first ever Gangstarz reality show which is proudly sponsored by Onetouch.
