Justice takes gospel music to another level

If the splendid performance put up by Justice, winner of the 2007 edition of Stars of the Future, at the grand finale of the 2008 competition is anything to go by, then one will not be wrong in saying the young man is already cruising on the highway to stardom.

Although that was his first public performance after annexing the title a year ago, Justice mounted the stage beaming with confidence and treated fans at the National Theatre to very soul-touching and inspiring performance.

Justice, who sang compositions on his yet-to-be-released album, managed to get virtually the entire audience to sing along with him, though they were hearing the song for the very first time.

Indeed, his stagecraft and vocal ability won the hearts of many, who kept asking for more even when he was done with his performance.

It was such an exciting and spiritually uplifting performance from the budding artiste; no wonder he jokingly remarked that the National Theatre had been turned into a church.

So instructive and impressive was Justice’s performance that a number of people were eager to know when his album would hit the market.

A truly excited lady proclaimed: “I’m very positive this young man is set to take our gospel music to another level.

If he can put up such a show even before the release of his first album, only God knows what he would do in the near future.”

To many others, Justice’s performance that night was not so surprising considering the fact that he is on the E.K.B Production Record Label, the same company that manages Becca, the Afro-pop singer who has taken Ghanaian music international over the past one year.
