Ogee speaks about his success & haters

As a visionary, Ogee is known for blissfully bringing to light Ghana’s true light music videos into the world of music videos.

As his junior brother said, he also repeats the same statement that “we are a combination of many things and will say that we grew up with our dad who owned a cinema”, he said.

The director of the latest Daddy Lumba’s video is far from pleased with the excessively ‘Phamous People’ videos on the market which shows how they are doing on the market.

Ogee has stepped behind the lens to create more ’16 millimeter’ videos just after he returned from Gabon and some other countries. After directing several highly-acclaimed videos in and out of Ghana which has gone to MTV, Channel O, Trace TV, and more TV networks and music video websites like Ghana Music.com, youtube.com, metcafe.com, brightcove.com, more are expected from him and his pro junior brother, GYO.

“Now things are coming our way. We’ve got the 16 millimeter cameras which make the videos look very sharp”, he continued.

Believe the hype. True, famed music-video director Ogee came back from Gabon and some other African countries with new clips from the Eben Entertainment Family.

Ogee quickly insists he wants to focus on the international market, making videos for the Jigga man (Jay Z), P. Diddy, 50 Cent and more which will take him to the realm of Hype Williams, Benny Boom and more.

He also drops a few punch lines to a group of people he terms haters. “A couple of people and friends act like they so cool around you but when they are away, then you realize their ‘true colours’”, said serious looking Ogee.
