Slim's 'Boogie Wugie 4' At Next Door

The fourth in series of Slim Busterr's Christmas shows comes off tomorrow, December 23 at the Next Door Beach Resort in Accra.

As usual, the show, dubbed 'Boogie Wugie 4' is expected to see spectacular performances by the dancing Busterr and his dancers as well as a number of crowd pulling artistes like Tinny, Castro, Buk Bak, Okyeame Kwame and King David.

Also on the bill are Abiola and Dr. Slimmy, a new artiste and nephew of Slim who seems to be the following in the steps of his uncle.

In a pre-event interview with showbiz, Slim Busterr said he is all charged for the upcoming show which will also see the launching of his latest album titled 'Heaven's Door'. " Trust me, this is going to be another blast", was his comment on his expectations for the new album.

In his usual cool manner he said, "I know this is going to be another successful show because my shows get better with time".

Slim said he almost called off this year's show having had a very tight schedule towards the end of the year plus his relentless efforts to complete his album, "It's been really tough but I just can't afford to disappoint my fans who have always looked forward to the show since it began three years ago", he said.

"Boogie Wugie 4" will see Slim Busterr taking patrons down memory lane with performances of his very popular songs over the years like 'Masan Aba', 'Eye fe Keke', 'Medofo Bra' and a host of others.

Another thing to watch out for this time around is Slim will be interlacing the show with performances with a cultural troupe, that's right, he will show what he is made of so far as traditional music and dance is concerned.

The action begins at 7pm sharp, if his previous shows are anything to go by, then this will surely be a night to remember.
