Nana Quame Blazed Cape Coast

Nana Quame Over 500 fans waited in hushed anticipation to see the iconic frontman of music -Nana Quame. The audience that had gathered in front of the colourfully decorated stage for the Soja tour at C.N.C-Cape Coast was a typical ready-to-dance crowd.

With baseball caps pulled low, the crowd at C.N.C was definitely ready for a dose of Nana Quame?s songs.

They were not let down as K.K Fosu, Okyeame Quame, Lucky Mensah, 4x4, Nana Antwi, Bole, Popa, Akasanoma, Don Dee, Blackface and the likes displayed their skills which was unbearable.

Their early set warmed the crowd up for Nana Quame?s delicious silky songs. The crowd went ape when Nana Quame backed by a girl who was willing to perform with him took the stage and punished the sweaty, ecstatic crowd.

A few minutes later, the crowd seemed itchy to mount on stage just to dance with him as he warmed them with sounds from his current album.

He cooed his way through a set thick with songs like ?Asemsebe?, ?Soja Alafia?. While the crowd eagerly lapped up, he sang a couple of songs from his repertoire.

You should have been there to see how they jumped at any chance to throw their hands in the air and exude go-go.

Some members of the crowd climbed upstage to dance and also press flesh. This was;ll;ll what one guy had to say, ?I see this show as theatre meets clubbing. It was more than a concert?.

Nana Quame then wooed male and female fans with his generous smile. Not many music celebrities can attract quite the number and scope of heads as Nana Quame can.

Fans of all styles, shapes and colours packed the C.N.C theatre for the widely announced Soja Tour.
