Reggie Wins African Video Of the Year

Reggie Rockstone, Godfather of Hiplife One of the much awaited events of the year, KORA All Africa Music Awards came off last Sunday in South Africa. Reggie Rockstone and Rex Omar, who have been in the Ghanaian music industry for long, were nominees in some categories.

Reggie Rockstone and Rex Omar were both nominated for West Africa Male Artiste of the year to which they both missed to their Nigerian neighbour, Kunle.

In another category, Reggie Rockstone and Zola from won the Best African Video. OM Music Studios directed Reggie's 'Ah' song from his Last Show album.

After months of preparation and hard work, VIP who won Artiste of the Year at this year's Ghana Music Awards shook the KORA stage. Ghanaians were having doubts about VIP putting up a colour performance in South African but they surprised the audience and TV viewers with their 'Ahomka Wo Mu' song and neatly rehearsed chorography dance. I for instance was amazed with VIP's performance especially their outro dance with the waving of white handkerchiefs to which the audience did by waving theirs.
