"Obuor" Says He Is Safe

Obour Mr Bice Osei-Kuffour, popularly known in music circles as "Obour," on Wednesday refuted media publications that he was involved in an accident in Sunyani.

He told the GNA that though his car burst a front tyre at the Sunyani Rex roundabout on July 15 it was replaced at nearby filling station and that he was not injured.

Obuor said the reports had affected "my smooth nationwide campaign for road safety, organized in association with the National Road Safety Commission.''

"The story has created scepticism among my collaborators and sponsors in the campaign and wish to assure my ever growing fans that I am safe, fit, healthy and ready to move my campaign to the six remaining regions before the end of the year.''

He is in the Brong-Ahafo Region as part of a nationwide campaign for road safety and is billed to perform in Sunyani, Techiman and Berekum.
