Sonnie Badu Concert Slated For November

Sonnie Badu, arguably Ghana’s highest profiled Gospel artiste ever is set to stage another Concert in Ghana in November.

After only a week of serious publicity, the national theatre of Ghana was packaged last September when the worship mogul first staged a concert in Ghana.

Not only was the theatre packed but the show and the star got such huge media attention, with some segments of the media bringing his work and achievements for the first time into the public domain as others also made calculated attempts to maligned him and bring his good name and hard earned reputation into disrepute to satisfy their own selfish and parochial interests.

Sonnie Badu, now in his mid twenties has already made Ghana proud on the world gospel stage by winning several awards and accolades. Last year alone in the space of four weeks the star won a total of five awards, including the world famous BEFTA Award for Gospel and the Best Gospel Artistes (UK).

He has shared the same stage with world renowned artistes, not as another performer but as “the performer”, so much so that world acclaimed worship leaders refer to him as the true worshiper. This year, “GHANA WORSHIPS WITH SONNIE BADU” show is scheduled for November.

The organizers are considering moving the venue to the International Conference Centre (ICC) or the Dome also situated at the premises of the ICC. This is to arrest the situation where people do not get seats or are unable to attend the event because tickets are sold out.

Last year when the event was staged in Accra, scores of people travelled from other parts of the country to be a part of the worship session with the “True Worshipper”, thus the worship train is likely to move to a venue in Kumasi after the Accra Event. All things being equal subsequent years will see other cities hosting Sonnie Badu.

Presently, the son of Ghana is in the United States of America where he has been invited to Minister. He moved from Canada to the States after blessing hundreds with the worship experienced.
