Shilo’s music video too sexy for GTV

The first Ghanaian TV station will not air Q Lex Entertainment’s Ga rapper Shilo’s new music video because it is considered pornographic. Watch Video: Maameley by Shilo feat. Vancy

Shilo is eagerly trying to return to the scenes and decisions to ban his music video does not bother him that much but he doesn’t know why GTV would prefer promoting foreign sexy music videos on some of their music programs.

Shilo is almost done with the album that features Vancy, Screwface and a possible duet with Aletse Kankpe, Tinny on ‘Gbuu’.

“GTV airs music videos of foreign artistes like 50 cent, Beyonce and co which show more of their body but would refuse to promote Ghanaian music on their network. We won’t mind them and are rather grateful to NET 2 TV for giving us massive promo”, Jay Q, the executive producer said.

We are yet to hear from any rep of GTV about Shilo’s incident but a few artistes like Nasty Tay, K. K. Vidash have had their music videos refused by GTV.
