Rex Omar On African Tour

Some call him the sexy don dada. Others call him a perfect gentleman. And over one million (that's the number of people who purchased his debut ?Linda?) fans around the globe know it. His ?Linda? spent more than 6 weeks on the local charts and no show was held without Batman performing.

In the last two years and a half, his cool, hypnotic flow and good looks have massed a lot of attention. His dynamism and ability to move people into frantic ecstasy has made him the only Ghanaian hiplife/rag life artist to be on the bill of every event in Ghana for two consecutive years in history.

Talk of great shows such as Kevin Lyttle and Wayne Wonder in Ghana, Nite With The Stars, Ghana Music Awards 2006, Bob Marley?s Birthday, Beenie Man in Ghana, Akon in Ghana, Miss Malaika Ghana 2005, Batman had the audience on their feet.

Companies and some event organisers have been quick to big up the Ghanaian-born lad using his chart busting track ?Linda? for their commercials and jingles. His explosive popularity has also led him to do a commercial for Black Stars. EA Sports, MTV or Channel O could be next.

Aaliyah may have said it best. Age is nothing but a number. Though he is in his early 20?s, he is already a bonafide Ghanaian superstar with ?Linda?.

Fast forward to 2006. While ?Linda? is still a club banger, Batman is set to stir up the music scene with his second shot, ?Rain God?, which will be released by April 22, 2006. If you think ?Odo? is his hit track, then you are way off the hook. Wait till you listen to other touching songs and club bangers, which will move major units.

With this album, Batman will go more rungs higher registering his name as a household name on the international scene. His dance-to-your feet songs will make their way onto TV, radio and local charts. Recently, he spoke to Ghana Music.com on how there might be a duet with Chana in his future. It has come to pass. The sexy young diva is on most of the hit tracks.

Now, pay attention: Today's dancehall king of Ghana will be holding court with the press about his latest album, ?Rain God?, talking to journalists eager to know more about the ?bomb? on April 7 at Alisa Hotel at 11:00 am.

He's got them: a 2004 New Artist of The Year nod at Ghana Music Awards 2005 and another nod as the New Hiplife Artist of 2004 at Ghana Music Awards 2005.

On 23rd April 2006, Cosmopolitan Ventures on behalf of Lexyfri Productions Ltd will again officially launch the album at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. The TV launch of his album will be on TV3 on 29th April 2006. Update your calendars, PDA?s and mobile phones so as not to miss these great events. Don?t tell me I did not tell you about it.

Not only will Batman hypnotize the heads of his fans. He will also grace the front pages of most local and international newspapers and magazines adding his name to the ?A? list of big achievers internationally.

Hope the Universal Records, Roca Fella Records and the likes are going to scoop him up for a deal. Like legendary Sizzla or dancehalling Sean Paul, he is today's answer to a dancehall romancer.

Batman equals huge hits and platinum-plus sales. For more information call +233 20 820 9899, +233 24 484 1630 or email lexyfri2002@yahoo.com.
