President Rawlings declared medically fit by doctors.

Reports from the Castle Osu say President Jerry Rawlings has been declared medically fit by his doctors and could go on with his normal schedule. This development comes two days after the President had a dizzy spell in the middle of a speech and had to take a short a rest. That incident drew reactions from aides and anxious people, expressing concern about his unhealthy eating habits and long working hours. President Rawlings is said to be relying heavily on vitamins for food and works through the night. A memo from the Director of Castle Public Affairs written to the President late last year reminded him of his harsh lifestyle for the past fifteen years and advising him to cut down on his non-nutritious foods and take time off to rest. The memo also, reminded the President of his age, counseling him to stop wearing himself out willfully and conserve his energy for the nation

Well, all is not lost because

President Rawlings has been declared medically fit by doctors.

And while Ghana is struggling on all power fronts, it still needs to conserve enough energy to welcome Princess Anne, the daughter of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom, to Ghana from March 11 to 15.

And soon after her exit from Ghana, President Bill Clinton of the US of A will be landing Airforce One at Ghana's one and only Kotoka International Airport on 22 March.
