Bodomase Gets Town Development Committe

Bodomase-Kumawu, (Ashanti Region), 27 Oct.,

A nine-member town planning committee has been formed at Kumawu-Bodomase to help speed up the development of the town. It is under the chairmanship of Mr. Stephen Aduse-Poku, a transport owner and farmer with Mr. Robert Owusu, a retired civil servant, as the vice-chairman. Other members are, Mr. Clement Amoakohene, secretary, Mr. Kwaku Krah, organiser, and Miss Sussana Kumah, treasurer. Mr. K.K.G. Appiah-Kubi, a tutor at the Saint Monica's Secondary School at Asante Mampong and an assemblyman, said the development of the area should be the collective responsibility of the community. While Mr. Appiah-Kubi advised the members to take sanitation seriously, Mr. Aduse-Poku urged them to make development of the town their top priority.
