Nsenkyerene Rock Kumasi, Shasha Serenades Accra

Shasha Marley with Isaac Hayes Nsenkyerene, the new hiplife duo of Sky Tone and Nana George, who have just released ?Anopa Bosuo? is set for a major launch concert in Kumasi.

The show, dubbed the ?Gulder ? Paradio Love Night? is being organized to put people of the Garden City in the mood for Valentine, according to Royals Production, organizers of the event.

Some of the heavyweights in the hiplife arena who will be storming the Osix Plaza at Abuakwa for the show are Obour, Tic Tac, K.K. Fosu, Okyeame Kwame, Nana Quame and Castro.

The CEO of Royals Production, who is also the Executive Producer of the album, Frankie Taylor says they are planning to have one of the biggest hiplife shows ever organized.

Shasha Marley has been one of the most artistic reggae musicians this country has ever has ever seen. With his usual stage outfit of a monk?s robe, he normally confuses people with his identity when he derobes.

But Shasha, with his robe and all, has been missing from the local music scene for sometime now. On Valentine?s Day, however, Shasha Marley will mount the Accra Next Door Beach Resort stage to perform at his Ghanaian fans once again.

Shasha told Showbiz last week that he is coming back after a long time because most of his fans have been calling for him to return. ?I choose to do so on Valentine?s Day because it is the day on which love is shown most?, he said.

?People think the monk is not romantic,? Shasha asserted, ?but come Valentine?s Day they will see that side of me?. He added that he will sample songs from the genre of root reggae and lovers rock.

The CEO of Next Door Emmanuel ?Slo? Armah said he chose Shasha Marley as the sole artiste to perform at his resort on Valentine?s Day because he is the only person who could shake the place and he is confident Shasha would live up to the charge.

?Shasha has been away for a long time and many of the people who have missed him have been calling for him to perform,? he said.
