More collabos coming up – MzVee promises

Mzvee Mzvee

Dancehall and afropop artiste MzVee has promised her fans more hits this year as she puts finishing touches to her next album to be launched in November with a mega concert.

According to the 2015 VGMA Best New Artiste of the Year, her album will be strewn with more collaborations with other well-known artistes.

MzVee - born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda - disclosed this on TV3’s Spotlight on Friday, July 31.

Already, the diminutive artiste has released a single, Abofra, from that album.

The song features neo-soul songstress Efya.

“I did the song with Efya because she has been there for me since Day One and she is still there for me,” MzVee told Spotlight presenter Ewurama.

She said the single is about how far she has come and the blades of grass left for her to cover.

MzVee received six nominations during the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

She was also nominated as the Best New International Artiste at the 2015 BET Awards.

“This year I have amazing collaborations coming up but I can’t say much about it now.”

MzVee’s previous album features collaborations with several award-winning artistes including 2015 VGMA Artiste of the Year Stonebwoy.
