What her numerous fans don?t know is that Georgia is not only a soloist and a philanthropist but has a group known as Georgia & Co.

This group, which has been in existence for the past seven years, has been officially outdoored and would soon travel to the United States of America for a splendid and unforgettable gospel music explosion.

In summer and precisely the second week of July, Georgia and CO in collaboration with some renowned gospel musicians residing in the United States of America will launch a sensational album with a bang that would reverberate across the United Sates and Ghana in a distinctive style never felt before.

The Ghanaian/American gospel album would also feature stars in the likes of Jane & Bernice, Naana & Dan, as well as US-based soul inspiring artistes.

The brain behind The Gospel All Stars event, which would be an annual celebration, is Rev. Samuel Damoah with Jon Dee, Ghana?s finest producer doubling as the producer.

The celebration, which would witness breathtaking performances from Georgia & Co is aimed at uniting Ghanaian musicians and citizens in the USA as well as create opportunities for them to support a worthy cause.

The concert would also use gospel music as a vehicle for Christian and non-Christians to reflect on the spiritual ramifications of Christ?s death, burial and resurrection.

Georgia & Co comprise of instrumentalists, backing vocalists and Georgia Agyei, a renowned gospel musician of our time.

In an interview with the gospel advocate, Georgia said the overwhelming drive that propelled her to establish the group and the level of anointing on the group is the cause of their eclectic performances.

?Watching them perform and discovering how they influence lives, I realised how blessed I was to have the opportunity of working with such spirit-filled people and how worthy it would be for others to benefit from it.

They carry you to heaven with their voices and spectacular dances,? Georgia said. Born at Manhyia to a Malian mother, Asata Finle and an Asante father, Kwabena Agyei, Georgia grew up without God.

I was Georgia in the world without God. I used to live a life of my own where satisfying fleshy desires were the ultimate.

I joined numerous secular singing bands, which staged performances and concerts at social gatherings all over the country.

That kind of life led to my giving birth to two children out of wedlock. ?To me, life was not worth living save the day I met Pastor Rocky of Christian Life Centre, Takoradi.

This is the man that led me to the saving grace,? she said.
