Esther Smith ends it all

Information available to P&P as at press time indicted that the marriage between the sensational gospel diva, Esther Smith and her husband Rev. Ahinkan Bonsu had finally been annulled.

Though Esther herself is presently domiciled in Germany, her mother stood in her stead at a Kumasi Circuit Court 2 where the divorce proceeding was reportedly heard. Of the three kids out of the five year old marriage, two are with Esther in Germany whilst the remaining one is Pastor Ahinkan.

Readers would recall that in the P&P Issue No. 1025 (dated June 5-7), we carried a story in which the couple and their respective families traded insults and accusations at each other.

Pastor Ahinkan alleged that the wife had given their newly born baby to another man in Germany to facilitate her documentation and continued stay in that country.

However, in a sharp rebuttal, the ace musician accused the husband of irresponsibility and unfaithfulness during their marriage. Pastor Ahinkan was also accused of having had an affair with their house help at one time.
