Da Silva Puts Fear In Hiplife Artistes

Edguardo Peraria Da-Silva is a Togolese-Ghanaian musician who is out to shake the hiplife scene with his debut album ?Foo Shishi?. Even when he was recording at the Fame Music Production Studio at Abeka Lapaz, everybody who heard the sound and lyrics kept mute and most people said he is a threat to the best hip-life artistes.

Born to the late Omer Da-Silva of Togo and Ghanaian Mildress Vero of Labadi Beach Hotel, the newly outdoored musician attended Koforidua Sectec before becoming a graphic designer. His deep interest in music saw him always listening to great musicians like Bounty Killer, Buju Bunty and Yoggie Doggie. However his idols are the late Terry Bonchaka and Batman.

Edguardo Da-Silva, also known as ?Waya? and ?Roman Sister? by his school mates, was introduced to real music by Maron Askei, a sound engineer now in London. His first production was with A.T Klan in 2001.

Now with the support and financial assistance of his dear friend Bernard Lartey, together they have been able to come out with a potential sell-out material technically produced by Zola, one of the best engineers in Ghana.

?Roman Sister? who has featured Abuja of Yangapo fame, King Sailor, Kanewu, Novag, Black Knight Harriet and Asheley of Wulomei fame, told P & P in an exclusive interview that he wants people to know that the best of Ga and Ewe rap are yet to be released. Some of the tracks on the album ? Cocoa butter, Street girl, Gbodzibi, Buame and Foo Shishi ? alokoto are just good for both the young and the elderly because they carry inspirational messages that are aimed at encouraging Africans.

He tasked ?Voltarians? to look out for the album because there is a message for them, but the super work is dedicated to his little daughter, Belinda Pamara Da-Silva, who is only seven months old. Roman Sister is a real show biz personality who does not only rap but can dance and entertain the biggest audience. Watch out for Da-Silva, the latest hip-life exponent .
