DJ Mensa - “Music is the soul of life”

Dj Mensa always takes each day to be a learning process. I see life to be dynamic and I see myself as very special because not many people do what I do. My name is Michael Mensa and Dj Mensa is my claim to fame.

I never take the easy way out of life but I try my best to keep a glamorizing lifestyle to make me look good. I am a club Dj and I am proud to be working with the biggest and hottest night club in Ghana.

I believe Music is the soul of life and can you imagine how life would have been without music.

You would’n??t find me talking too much since I make my hot fingers burn the players to produce good music or better still I try to show the subdued murky side to DJing.

I try to exhibit the part of me that leaves an indelible mark on your heart and mind 2burn deep inside you.

Dj Mensa is a force to reckon in the game of hip pop, R n B, High life and Hip life in Ghana. I have been working as a Dj close to eight (8) years now and I can say the journey has been long. I started with sound max entertainment. This is where I use to play parties, Christenings and even funerals.

I had short stints with Bull Dog and Yegoala night club??s respectively and at the moment with Aphrodisiac Night Club. I hold an HND in purchasing and supply and working towards for a degree in Events management. I hold certificates from Ghana institute of Journalism in (voice and speech training), in (marketing, communication, public relations and advertising).

I hold a certificate from RABODEF in Radio Broadcasting and I am a lilâ?? wiz as far as computers re concerned. I work as a manager for Venus world multimedia and also double up as the welfare manager and production assistant for Empire Entertainment. I also work as the welfare manager for 4syte TV.

Dj Mensa has worked alongside talented Djâ??s like Dj black (Joy fm), Dj Bola Ray (Joy Fm) Dj Jah lo (formally of prime cut), Dj woodman (formally of Groove Fm), Dj Willie (Top Radio), Dj Ice (U.K?s finest), Dj Use, Dj Bottie Brown (Cinderella??s), Dj Pepsi (Choice Fm), Dj Nii ( Aphrodisiac), Dj Abele. (Yegoala Night club), Dj Planch (Yegoala Night club) and Dj Pesewa (Yegoala Night club).

Dj Mensa has trained a lot of Dj?s who are all successful and working with some of the Night clubs in Accra and Kumasi. Dj Ike (Roxbury nite club), Dj Benji of Oman fm and Ghana should watch out for my little Brother, Dj Fresh.

Dj Mensa is currently working on a mix tape that will feature all the top Hi life and hip life artiste and some Nigerian Artiste like 2face, D banj, Style Plus and P Square. He plans to tour the ten regions of Ghana with the entire artiste that will be on the mix tape. Dj Mensa sees a bright light at the end of the tunnel and looking up to setting his own Entertainment Company in future.
