Chemphe set to release latest Single

For the first time in his music career, soulful R&B Henry Agyekum won the Best Lyrists of the Year Award at the just-ended Ghana Music Awards, just after releasing his second album this year.

Henry, who is also known in the showbiz world as Chemphe, told The Saturday Statesman in a telephone interview that another single album and a website that would promote his albums and sell his urban life on the global music scene were being worked on and would soon be launched.

Chemphe, who calls his own style of music as the ‘urban life’, further explained that his single album “One People”, is made up of two new tracks and one hit truck from his second album, ‘Why u de treat am bad”.

The hip-life “madman” - Kwaw Kese - featured in the track entitled ‘Ebi so the world’. The single is set to hit the waves at the end of this month.

Chemphe.com, the name of his website, will be launched in July.
