Bosheba Out With ?Wo Nkoaa?

Frank Dwomoh Arhin is the kind of person one would easily walk pass without noticing. No, nothing to do with his structure but hiplife entrant Bosheba as he is known in showbiz circles does not do anything extraordinary to draw attention to himself. The 17 year old is so reserved and almost shy to a fault.

Unlike most musicians who initially suffer opposition from their families especially parents who often times prefer that their children take up other ?prestigious? professions, Bosheba seems to have it all going for him. His parents and siblings are all very supportive of him, his elder brother, Italy based Vincent Amakye Ansah is his executive producer.

This reporter was really touched when his mother, Madam Mary Aryee, a Konongo based farmer accompanied him to the offices of Showbiz. Madam Aryee who kept nodding throughout the interview told this reporter that she is interested in what her son is doing because he has always loving singing, ?I believe it can take him places that is why I am here to give him support.?

Madam Aryee added that parents should encourage their children in fields that they (the children) are interested in as that will help bring out the best in them.

Bosheba told Showbiz that he wrote the songs as far back as 1999 but had to wait for his brother to come down before releasing it.

?Wo Nkoa? is what he calls the album, released last Tuesday with 10 songs on the cassettes, and 12 on yet-to-be released CD.

A very good song, personal favourite and one that stands a good chance of topping the charts in no time is ?Odo Ye Wu? which features Batman and K.K.Fosu. Smart thing Bosheba did featuring the two who (he says have been extremely helpful in his musical career) because as expected, they delivered.

It is a highlife piece with rap bits by Bosheba himself and Batman. Quite frankly, listening to him, this reporter cannot help wondering why he has not had the necessary exposure as the face behind the songs.

Love runs through the songs on the album and Bosheba explains that his parents? love motivates him, ?they have lived together for so long and even in their old age, they still pamper each other to everyone?s admiration.?

Equally the songs on the promotional CD that Showbiz has are ?Wonkoa?, ?Wo Be Kume?, ?Stella? and ?Asa?.

All the songs were recorded and mixed by Roland and Kofi at Best Brain Digital Studios and Ashanti International Studios in Accra, and were written and arranged by Bosheba.

As he says in ?Odo Ye Wu?, Bosheba is looking up to the good Lord for success in his chosen field. He admires the likes of Lord Kenya, Obrafour, Reggie Rockstone, Swazy B and Joe Frazier, Batman, Kokovelli, K.K. Fosu and a host of others in the industry, saying they have started it off well for others like him to follow up.

To his family especially brother Vincent and mum, Bosheba said he is extremely grateful and will not let them down. He also expressed gratitude to Batman and K.K. Fosu.
