Becca's Management Speaks On 'Children's Ball' Money

A recent blog posted on Ghana Music.com which was written by Nana Yaw Wiredu, a freelance journalist with the title – “Is Becca lying to Ghanaians, where is the money raised for the Children's Insurance?”...

...dated Monday, 31 May 2010 sparked a few concerns on what was going on with the money that was accumulated from Becca Children’s Ball. Listen to Forever by Becca

Kiki Banson (manager for Becca), has dismissed the blog post that “a hundred thousand dollars was promised by Kompac Oil over a period of 10 years and nothing has been paid yet. The company just went public in Ghana but we believe and know they will pay us soon”, he said.

Deloitte & Touche has called any publication that Becca or her management handling the money raised from the ball as baseless attacks because they are the company hired to manage donations made to the foundation.

Mr. Chuck Anyormi, the country representative for Kompac Oil also said that “the money was a pledge by the head office. Ghanaians must understand that the pledge will surely be honoured by the board soon”.

Since this publication was posted on Ghana Music.com, Becca has seriously been rehearsing with her band for gigs at the African Villages during the 2010 World Cup football matches.
