Becca denies report

BeccaMusic star, Rebecca Acheampong aka Becca has denied media reports that she was married to Samuel Eto’o, Cameroonian international footballer.

According to her management headed by Kiki Banson, Becca and Eto’o were friends and the two were currently working on a movie about the Barcelona striker.

The management argued that seeing the two together did not mean they were a couple, adding that they were working on a project.

Management was of the view that Becca was too young for marriage and even if she was ready to get married today, Eto’o would not be the lucky man.

“Working together does not mean that they are a married couple,” lamented Kiki Banson, Becca’s producer.

The movie is a mix of fact and fiction but almost all of it is scripted. There are flashbacks where Eto’o interacts with school teachers, close family people and childhood friends. Becca plays the role of a teenage friend of Eto’o’s.

The young singer is earning over 90,000 Euros for playing a lead role with Eto’o in the movie, and apart from that another film production company in South Africa is also negotiating with Becca to play a role in a movie against child abuse which would earn her a huge sum of money.

Becca a couple of months ago launched her 12-track album, which features some of the nation’s finest artistes including Kwabena Kwabena and King Ayisoba.

The album is a classic combination of mind-blowing Twi and English tracks. Talk of lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation and sound quality, and the album is second to none.

Some of the fascinating tracks on the album are “Why”, “You Lied To Me” (remix), “Naughty Girl”, “I Love You”, “Heybaa” and “Sugar” among others.
