Batman?s National Peace Tour Takes Off

Batman In today?s active hiplife scene, a hit hardly makes it without the outstanding voice of Batman. He made an unshakeable claim to fame when he took off featuring skillfully on several songs of both known and unknown artistes.

His style cannot be altogether classified as rap or singing. Batman does what is referred to in Jamaican parlance as ?singjay? which is mixture of singing and rap or ragga. He has without question captured the hearts and minds of many Ghanaians with his unique style and pattern.

Batman has decided to break a new ground by taking his hits to the people of Ghana via a nationwide tour dubbed National Peace Tour dubbed ?National Peace Tour?. It all started last Friday, September 24, 2004 in his home ground at the Upper East region.

Linda is still one of the hottest Ghanaian songs reigning in the top five after numerous weeks at the number one position. The response from the audience was tremendous in Upper East region, according to Bandana, one of Ghana?s fine raglife artiste who happens to be on the tour with Batman.

On the board the train of the National Peace Tour are all the artiste Batman featured on his highly successful debut ?Dankwansere? cut. Aside from the hit track ?Linda?, ?Lambouri?, a song in his native Wala tongue was one that really tingled the audience with excitement. The next location according to Bandana will be Bolgatanga.

The tour was slated for twelve destinations with the last being the nation?s capital and could not have come at a better time. With elections looming, Ghanaians surely will be the ultimate beneficiaries of Batman?s message of peace.
