THIS GALAMSEY MENACE--ooOOH!
For me --To me ----it is always this GALAMSEY MENACE -----YES we can STOP it .
Our forebears did artisanal small scale mining ---wining gold way back --precolonial times.
Sensible ---Responsible they were-----and just look at the mess we are causing and we say we are modern and wise-----For how long shall we continue to be deceiving ourselves--behaving like ostriches--living in fool's paradise ?
CONNTRY 'BROKE' or NO 'BROKE'---we all 'dey' inside----this is a realization that has recently dawn on me .All along I was seriously concerned about this GALAMSEY MENACE issue daily being talked about in Ghana ----the fact that it is killing us all -slowly and softly yet Governments have been "at wits' end" to STOP the calamity. The general picture of degraded-devastation of Ghana's Agricultural Land ,denuded Forest Reserves and pollution of most Water bodies was of great embarrassment to me --having been away (living in the diaspora ) for over 25 years. A very dangerous situation if you ask me --and I could deduce Government was either clueless about how to effectively deal with the problem or plainly being foolishly wicked about dealing with the GALAMSEY MENACE. The TALK of lack of Political Will to take care of this general environmental disaster has never been acceptable to me--for there was no need for any FOREIGN AID to deal with this GALAMSEY MENACE as a result of irresponsible Artisanal Small Scale Mining operations in the country. As a matter of fact some lackadaisical measures have been thrown about to STOP the GALAMSEY MENACE however by my judgement the measures have been hopeless, wasteful and costly.

Nigerian music superstar Wizkid has once again become the centre of online discussion following renewed interest in his estimated net worth in 2025, as Afrobeats continues to dominate the global music scene.

THIS burning ISSUE of the devastating GALAMSEY MENACE----ALWAYS -always --never say DIE
--4 as for me --STOP the GALAMSEY MENACE-is a MUST DO THING that has to be done to save GHANA from 'Annihilation'--It appears most Ghanaians are very ignorant re the GALAMSEY MENACE--and the repercussion associated no insult intended pardon me.
How can our President unashamedly allude in public that Government is building up its gold Reserves from the proceeds of artisanal small scale mining operations and as a matter of fact

“That Ghana Should Allow Freehold Land Ownership for All Citizens”
Opening Statement
Land is the foundation of every nation’s prosperity. In Ghana today, however, not every Ghanaian has equal rights to own land securely and permanently. Under our current customary land tenure system, permanent ownership, known as freehold, is available only to people whose ancestors originally belonged to a particular stool or family. Other Ghanaians can only obtain leaseholds that expire after 50 or 99 years.

STILL saying it Loud and Clear----my persistent cry for a quick action to
STOP the GALAMSAY MENACE plaguing our motherland --so far it appears it is being

and deliberately overlooking any possible effective WAY to stop this GALAMSEY

My 'MISCELLANEOUS'---OBJECTIVITY
My ardent view on the ongoing campaign for the NPP Presidential primaries; Civic
Responsibility must be used as a criteria from both the aspirants and the electorate
[the voters]----Listening to the messages from some of the aspirants I get the
impression --that they want us to believe the various Political Parties are voted
into power to only serve to the needs of a specific Party members--missing out on the
fact that any ruling Government is in power to serve to the needs of all citizens and
