Newark, NJ -- The Womens Movement in New Jersey has seven Assemblies that come together to form the District. The Movement is overseen by The District Leader; Deaconess Otuo-Achampong under the Pastorialship of Reverend and Mrs. Martey Asemnor. However, the New York Regional Convention held at Zone Three, New Jesrsey successfully was attended by all the assemblies from the two Districts.

The convention began at 7pm with a grand opening. All assemblies in the zone gave their welcome songs. Reverend. A.M Asemnor, the host Pastor gave the welcome address. Mrs. Margaret Asemnor was the vessel God used on Friday. She gave an overview of the theme "Be Strong and Work for I am With You" (Haggai 2:4)
SAT. JULY 26, 2008
Deaconess Nana Otuo-Achampong was the speaker for Saturday morning session. She spoke on the sub ?theme "Be strong, press on do not be discouraged endure hardship and press on despite trials, tribulations and opposition in these end-times." She defined the phrase to be strong as being well established and firm. Work shops were held for couples and singles. The couples session was facilitated by Elder James Mckeown. Elder Boniface Oppong facilitated the singles session.

Sunday was the climax of the three days journey. The main speaker, Deaconess Fremah Kyei Akomeah, The New York Regional Leader gave the sermon on a sub theme "The Holy Spirit as Your Senior Partner" She used Joshua 1: 8 & 9 as a prelude to her sermon.
