Brooklyn, NY Family and friends of Nana Agyekum Bempong aka Tom Sawyer recently gathered in Brooklyn for the traditional funeral rites for the late Eno Afia Gyankoma Amaadie aka Alice Owusu who was 104 years old. The event occurred at the Nazareth High School, Brooklyn, NY. Among the chief mourners include; Nana Agyekum Brempong, alias Tom Sawyer (Akwamuhene of Effiduasi) and Nana Kofi Fori (Kontihene, Sepetimpoom, Kumasi and Nana Sarpong Nyantakyi, Ex Asantefuohene of New York.
