The Ghanaian Community in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada crowned their three-week long celebration of Ghana?s 50th Independence Anniversary with a Big Dinner Banquet at the Fort Garry Hotel on Saturday March 17, 2007. It was a day that many people felt proud to be Ghanaian. It was a splendid display of culture, fun and reflections of the fortunes of Ghana. The 400-seat capacity Banquet Hall was filled by 7.00 P.M.
