On the evening of Saturday, December 2nd, 2006, Fredrick Danso aka DJ Freddy and his dear wife; Akosua Serwaa aka Akos had what has been dubbed by many as the biggest and most well attended; "All White Outdooring Event of the Year 2006" in honor of their children; Kendra and Kendricks. The event happened at Occasions Banquet and Catering Hall, 127- 08 Merrick Blvd. Springfield Gardens, Queens NY. The MCs were; Robert Affel-Bedu aka Flipman, a former radio personality from Uneek FM, Ghana, Erefua Yanney, Journalism Undergraduate Student, Essex College, NJ and the great Abraham Kwaku Lincoln aka Papa Linc. On the "ones and twos' were heavy hitters;Nyce, Worcester's finest, E-love, North America's Top 'dawg", A Cut Above The Rest, Pace N Skills, UK's heavyweight entertainer from the world's famous Moonlighting Night Club, West End, Blue, Rex, Afriyie and Flash from Fox FM, Kumasi, Ghana. Special guests included; Nana Barimah Agyekumhene Brempong (Effiduase Ankamuhene) and Nana Kwaku Ofori, (Sepe Tipom, Kontihene). The dance hall was packed with family and friends who came in their numbers to show some love to DJ Freddy and family. The DJs entertained guests with great music and there was an awesome live performance by Hiplife sensation; B Clay who is becoming one of the most sought after Ghanaian artistes from USA. B. Clay who brought the house down with his dance moves backed by his great voice was showered with lots of dollar bills.(Check out his upcoming album launching in 2007) Metro Hi dancers impressed the audience with an exquisite choreography which really made their boss; DJ Freddy proud. Azey Production broadcasted the event live on Ghana Metro TV. The event continued with an After Party the following day at the Continental Ballroom 96-28 57th ave Lefrak City Queens, NY. DJ Freddy, entertainer/entrepreneur and his partner in showbiz; Flipman run Metro Hi Promotions in New York. DJ Freddy also owns Anokyekrom African Market, Bronx, NY and also Queens African Market which is run by his wife Akos.
