I will never defend anyone who steals government money – Gbande

NDC Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande has vowed that the party will not protect anyone found to have stolen state funds, even when the NDC is no longer in power. “The law is the law. Jail me if you think I have stolen state money when we go into opposition. I will never defend anyone who steals government money when we leave office,” Gbande said in an interview on Asempa FM. He said the NDC’s commitment to accountability would not change depending on whether the party was in government or opposition.
