‘I intend to have three children, but I’m waiting for the right woman’ - KiDi

Ghanaian musician KiDi has revealed that although he hopes to have three children, he has no intention of rushing into fatherhood again until he finds the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Speaking during a live stream with Made in Ghana, the award-winning singer opened up about his son, Zane, and shared his plans for expanding his family in the future. KiDi disclosed that his son, Zane, who spends time with his mother, had only recently returned from London after his annual summer visit. Every summertime he dey go London. So he come back. I think he just came back like two days ago sef,” he said in pidgin When asked whether he plans to have a second child, KiDi admitted that he has always envisioned himself having three children but wants to ensure his future children are with the woman he eventually marries. “The thing be say me, I plan say I wan born three. So I get one, so e left two. But the two no, I no wan rush am. I want make sure say e be the woman wey I go settle down with wey go born them,” he stated. The conversation also turned to parenting advice after the interviewer expressed a desire to have children soon. KiDi then cautioned prospective parents about the financial responsibility that comes with raising a child, particularly when it comes to education. “Make I tell you something, school fees dey cost. Number one. You see the fundamentals is very important.
