About The Event

The GhanaWeb Excellence Awards is an annual people’s choice award program launched to give GhanaWeb viewers and the general public the opportunity to recognize and honor outstanding individuals, organizations and initiatives that contribute to Ghana’s development, culture, media and society. As the first-ever audience-driven award program organized by an online media platform in Ghana, the Awards celebrate role models and future leaders whose impact motivates communities and helps make Ghana a better place to live.

“Celebrating Excellence: Inspiring Change, Empowering Communities" This year's theme encourages individuals and teams to innovate, elevate their work to new heights and inspire others to do the same. It also recognizes the outstanding achievements, dedication, innovation, excellence and inspiration of individuals and teams who have had positive impacts on society by encouraging continued growth and empowerment within Ghanaian communities.
