Ghanaian socialite Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, widely known as Afia Schwarzenegger, has responded to a defamation lawsuit filed against her by Sammy Gyamfi, CEO of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD).
In a video posted on social media on July 23, 2025, Afia Schwarzenegger dismissed Gyamfi’s GH¢10 million lawsuit, confidently stating that it would fail. She compared the case to that of Ghanaian commentator Kevin Taylor, whose legal battles were dismissed, and predicted a similar outcome.
"Remember what happened with Kevin Taylor’s case? Ours will end the same way. Taylor has insulted Otumfour and the Chief Imam, yet he remains free," she said.
Schwarzenegger boldly challenged Gyamfi, declaring that she would not compensate him even if he won the case.
"Sammy Gyamfi, go to hell with your useless lawsuit. Even if you win, I don’t have a single pesewa or any property in Ghana for you to claim," she added.
Background:
Gyamfi sued Schwarzenegger over allegations she made, accusing him of infidelity, extramarital affairs, and buying cars for female students at the University of Ghana. He is seeking a restraining order, a public apology across her social media and a national newspaper, and GH¢10 million in damages.
