The West African Examination Council (WAEC) issued the 2024 WASSCE tentative results for school candidates today.

This information was made public through the council's different social media handles and signed by the Head of Public Affairs, John K. Kapi.

The results are available online at www.waecgh.org.

This year's results have been unjustly delayed due to some back and forth between the government and WAEC over non-payment of some arrears owed to the examination body.

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for the people of Bosomtwe, had already faced harsh criticism for setting December 29th as the release date, but with the results arriving a day later than promised, the unhappy public may be willing to forgive him.

The council extended heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders who played diverse roles in ensuring that the results were released despite the hurdles encountered.
