The Ghana Gold Board's (GoldBod) acting CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, has provided information about a significant meeting that was held earlier today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
He announced that a delegation from the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) had visited the GoldBod headquarters in a post on his official Facebook page.
The purpose of the meeting, according to Mr. Gyamfi, was to strengthen GoldBod's relationships with important figures in Ghana's business sector. According to him, the main goal of the talks was to determine how the two organizations could cooperate to support change and economic growth.
Mr. Stephan Miezan, the president of the GNCCI, headed the delegation. The team also included Mr. Mark Boadu-Aboagye, the Chamber's CEO; Mr. Kabutey Ceaser, the national treasurer; Mr. Dennis O. Carter, a GNCCI member; and Mr. Peter Atsu Dotse, the head of communications.
The meeting was productive and fruitful, according to Mr. Gyamfi. He pointed out that both parties exchanged ideas about how to boost the gold industry and draw in more capital. He went on to say that closer relationships between GoldBod and the Chamber of Commerce will benefit businesses, increase employment, and develop Ghana's economy.

He expressed gratitude to the GNCCI team for coming and for their desire to collaborate closely with GoldBod. He said that he hoped the partnership will benefit the nation in many ways.
Sammy Gyamfi has been in the news lately for various reasons, which coincides with this encounter. He still interacts with significant players in the mining and economic sectors, though, and seems intent on his work.
Now, a lot of Ghanaians are keeping a careful eye on how these new alliances will advance the country's economy and gold sector.
