Grace Asare Revisits Breakthrough Song “Adwuma Wura,” Announces New Release “One Day”

Ghanaian gospel musician Grace Asare recently appeared on Angel FM 102.9 for an interview on the program “Y’adwuma Nie,” hosted by celebrated radio personality Ohemaa Woyeje.

The interview aired on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM, where the gospel singer shared insights about her music journey, the evolution of the gospel industry, and her latest song.

During the interview, Grace Asare reflected on the song that brought her into the spotlight, “Adwuma Wura.” According to her, the song was released in 2004 and became a major breakthrough in her music career.

The powerful gospel track gained massive attention across Ghana and helped establish her as one of the recognized voices in the gospel music industry.

Speaking about the music industry in the past compared to today, Grace Asare highlighted the changes brought by digitalization. She explained that during the early days of her career, musicians mainly depended on selling cassette tapes in markets to distribute their music. However, the system has changed drastically over the years, and music distribution has now become fully digital.



She noted that today’s musicians have the advantage of reaching audiences worldwide through online streaming platforms, making it easier for fans to access music from anywhere.

Grace Asare also used the opportunity to introduce her new song titled “One Day.” She described the song as a message of encouragement, hope, and inspiration to people who may be going through difficult times.

According to her, the song carries a powerful message that no matter the challenges people face, there will always be a better day ahead.
She added that the song is meant to motivate people who feel discouraged and remind them that God’s timing is always perfect.
Grace Asare also announced that “One Day” is now available on all digital streaming platforms. She therefore urged all her fans and gospel music lovers to go and stream the song online, supporting the new era of digital music distribution.
