Ghanaian singer and songwriter El Jena is set to release his latest single, “Sunrise,” under Siblings Recordz.

“Sunrise” is a warm and soulful Afrosound love record that captures the excitement of love at first sight, attraction, intimacy and finding someone who brings light into your world. With a blend of Afrobeats, Afrosound and Dancehall influences, El Jena delivers a melodic and feel-good record built around genuine romantic connection.

The song explores the emotions that come with meeting someone who instantly stands out — from wanting to spend the night together to imagining a future with that person. El Jena’s playful yet heartfelt delivery gives “Sunrise” an intimate quality while keeping the record vibrant and accessible.

At the heart of the song is the line, “In the dark but ah you come gimme light,” which captures the central idea behind “Sunrise”: finding someone who becomes your light.

With “Sunrise,” El Jena continues to showcase his ability to blend Ghanaian sounds with contemporary influences while telling relatable stories about love and relationships.

The single will be available across major digital streaming platforms on 23rd October 2026.
