The Bono East Regional Forestry Services Division is poised for a significant transformation with the acquisition of a 10-hectare land parcel for the construction of a state-of-the-art, two-story office edifice, thereby elevating the regional office's status.
Under the leadership of Mr. David Kwaku Appiah-Agyei and his team, this milestone marks a notable advancement for the forestry commission.
During a courtesy visit from Ronney Gogo, host of 'Mejumanie Nkomo' on Mejumanie TV, and his team on February 3rd, Mr. Appiah-Agyei provided an overview of the division's operations, highlighting the three forest districts of Kintampo, Nkoranza, and Atebubu, which span across 11 political districts.
Expressing appreciation for the warm reception since his assumption of office seven months prior, Mr. Appiah-Agyei apprised the media of the division's progress and strategic direction.
Given the current office's location in a rented apartment in Techiman Hansua, the regional capital, Mr. Appiah-Agyei made a heartfelt plea to the government to support the project, thereby paving the way for a more promising future.
