Fast-rising artiste Kubi Brown has shared a heartfelt story about how his music journey has been shaped, the role of his mother in motivating him, and the identity he has chosen for himself as a creative.

According to him, his mother has always been his strongest pillar of support. “My mom motivated me enough to do music. She believed in me when I was still finding my voice,” he revealed. Her encouragement gave him the confidence to pursue music seriously and build his craft.

However, the singer admits that their relationship faced a challenge when he decided to wear dreadlocks. Coming from a noble home, he explained that his mother and even people from his hometown felt dreadlocks did not reflect the values he was raised with. “She was disappointed when I wore dreadlocks because we are from a noble home and every person from my hometown will testify,” Kubi Brown said.
