Lil Durk Granted a Bond Hearing

Chicago rapper Lil Durk has been granted a bond reconsideration hearing.
The rapper’s legal team were able to secure a new bond hearing after presenting facts that some of the evidence presented by the prosecutors are false.
According to RapTV, the Chicago rapper legal team argues :
Prosecutors are misusing lyrics.
The song “Wonderful Wayne & Jackie Boy” cited by prosecutors was written months before the shooting, not after.
Viral videos edited by fan pages are being wrongly used as evidence.
The bond hearing date is set for May 8, 2025. If released, Lil Durk will have electronic monitoring and follow tight restrictions until trial, which is scheduled October 14, 2025.
