Voting opens for 2026 Modern Gospel Awards

Voting for the 2026 Modern Gospel Awards (MOGA2026) has officially opened, giving gospel music fans and members of the public the opportunity to support their preferred nominees.
The voting process began on October 5, 2026, and will continue until December, when the organisers are expected to close the voting window ahead of the announcement of the winners.
The sixth edition of the awards is being held under the theme “Rewarding Gospel Creatives” and has been dubbed “MOGA2026: The ICAD Edition.”
Several gospel industry categories up for grabs
This year's awards recognise various professionals and creatives working within gospel music and the wider Christian creative industry.
Among the categories are Gospel Artiste, Songwriter, Producer, Instrumentalist, Music Video Director and Gospel Media Personality, among others.
The range of categories places attention not only on performing artistes but also on some of the professionals whose work contributes to the creation, production, promotion and presentation of gospel music.
Fans urged to participate
With voting now underway, the organisers are calling on gospel music lovers in Ghana and across the diaspora to take part in the process and support nominees they believe deserve recognition.
The opening of the voting period is also expected to intensify competition among nominees as they seek to mobilise their respective fan bases ahead of the December deadline.
The Modern Gospel Awards, now in its sixth edition, continues to recognise individuals contributing to the development of gospel music and the broader Christian creative space.
As voting gets underway, nominees now have the opportunity to rally their supporters as the contest for the 2026 MOGA honours gathers momentum.
