Residents of Gyamase in the Ashanti Region experienced an emotional and memorable moment on Sunday when Prophet Onyameba, founder and leader of The Hour of God’s Intervention, organised a major humanitarian outreach for widows, widowers, and children within the community.
The outreach exercise, valued at over GH¢60,000, saw the respected man of God distribute food items, clothing, toiletries, drinks, and several other essential supplies to vulnerable residents.
Cash donations and essential items shared with beneficiaries
In addition to the various items distributed, Prophet Onyameba also presented cash donations to several widows and widowers to support their daily upkeep and help ease some of their financial challenges.
Children in the community also benefited from the exercise, receiving clothing, food packages, gifts, and other items during the outreach programme.
The atmosphere during the event became emotional as many elderly beneficiaries and parents expressed gratitude through prayers and words of appreciation. Some struggled to hold back tears as they thanked the prophet and his ministry for the support.
Prophet Onyameba says outreach was inspired by divine instruction
Speaking during the donation exercise, Prophet Onyameba explained that the humanitarian gesture was inspired by a divine instruction he received from God during prayer last Saturday.
According to him, he immediately acted upon the spiritual direction by going into town early the following morning to purchase all the items needed for the outreach.
“When God speaks, obedience must be immediate. This was not something planned for publicity. It was a divine assignment laid upon my heart to support widows, widowers, and children who are in need,” he stated.
Residents praise humanitarian gesture
Community members described the gesture as timely and impactful, especially at a time when many families continue to face economic hardship.
Several residents commended Prophet Onyameba for going beyond preaching and demonstrating practical love and compassion through direct support for vulnerable people within society.
Some widows who benefited from the donations described the support as an answered prayer and a miracle. Others noted that aside from the money and items they received, the visit itself made them feel remembered, valued, and appreciated.
More humanitarian projects expected from The Hour of God’s Intervention
Prophet Onyameba further assured residents that the outreach would not be a one-time initiative, revealing that The Hour of God’s Intervention intends to undertake more humanitarian projects in different communities.
He stressed that supporting humanity remains one of the ministry’s key missions.
“Our mission is not only about preaching on the altar. It is also about touching lives, restoring hope, supporting the needy, and showing the practical love of God to humanity,” he added.
The outreach has since attracted admiration from many people both within and outside Gyamase, with several residents praising Prophet Onyameba for using his ministry to positively impact lives and bring hope to the less privileged.
