The Global Peace Ambassadors Awards & NGOs Conference 2025 is set to take place on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the British Council Auditorium in Accra. The event is organized by Aim Ghana Foundation, led by the World Citizens Peace Ambassador for Ghana, in Collaboration with the National Peace Council of Ghana. This prestigious event will bring together global peace advocates, NGOs, corporate leaders, and changemakers to celebrate impactful work in peacebuilding, development, and humanitarian efforts.

Under the patronage of renowned international evangelist Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, the conference will feature an awards ceremony to honor individuals and organizations making significant contributions to democracy, unity, and sustainable development in Ghana and beyond. Special attention will be given to the past and present Chairpersons of the National Peace Council, alongside other distinguished figures in the peace and development sectors.



Ambassador Gladys Biney, World Citizens Peace Ambassador for Ghana and event coordinator, said:

“This is not just an awards ceremony; it’s a movement. A movement to inspire peace, collaboration, and shared purpose for a better world. This event underscores the vital role that peace plays in sustainable progress.”

In addition to the awards, the event will feature keynote addresses, cultural performances, and networking opportunities to strengthen collaborations between peacebuilders, youth leaders, and global development partners. The event will attract top government officials, faith leaders, international diplomats, and representatives from NGOs and corporate institutions.

The President of Ghana has been invited as the Special Guest of Honour, in recognition of his leadership in promoting peace and democratic governance in the country and across the African continent.

The event’s theme emphasizes the shared responsibility of peace as a cornerstone of global progress. In a world marked by conflict, division, and inequality, the Global Peace Ambassadors Awards & NGOs Conference serves as a beacon of hope, reaffirming Ghana’s role as a model of peace and democracy in Africa.

  • Promote collaboration between NGOs, corporations, and peace institutions.
