When 4OR speaks, there’s no filter. No gimmicks. Just the truth. That honesty pours through his lyrics, his production, and his entire artistic journey. Born Winning Elisha Onyibe, the Lagos-based artist and producer is part of a growing group of creatives using music not just to entertain, but to awaken.

His sound may echo afrobeat legends, but his mission runs deeper. 4OR is not here to blend in. He is here to disrupt with clarity, spirit, and purpose.

From visions to volume

According to family stories, 4OR’s path was written before he was born. “My auntie had a vision of me doing music while my mum was pregnant,” he recalls. That early prophecy stayed with him as he moved from Delta State to Port Harcourt, where his teenage years were spent learning the art of music production. By 2024, he stepped fully into artistry, ready to walk the path he had always felt called to follow.

A breakthrough that aligned everything

On March 21, 2025, 4OR released *Poverty Must Die* featuring Wizard Chan. It wasn’t just another single. “A lot of things came into alignment because of that song,” he says. The track gave him exposure, but more importantly, it affirmed his mission as an artist of truth and conviction.

Music from a higher place

For 4OR, creating music is a spiritual experience. He does not rely on studio vibes or external energy. “Most of my songs come from dreams or audible direction from God,” he says. That is why he prefers to record alone. “I don’t know what medium God will use to bring the song out of me.”

Blending afrobeat with global textures

While afrobeat forms the base of his music, 4OR often fuses elements of rock, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and more. His creative freedom allows him to shape a sound that feels both rebellious and refined. He doesn’t chase approval. “I say it as it is. No sugarcoating. Even if it scares me.”

Walking in truth, not perception

Though his look may challenge stereotypes, 4OR is grounded in his faith. “I might look like a devil worshipper, but I take pride in my obedience to God,” he says. His music challenges societal norms and encourages others to confront fear with honesty. “The truth will set you free.”

Watching a new movement rise

4OR believes a cultural shift is unfolding. “Everything in music and fashion is reversing. The old is mixing with the new,” he says. As a producer, he has worked with talents from Nigeria, Ghana, the US, and Canada. While he has yet to sign artists under his label 4EB Records, he is preparing the ground for something big.

Upcoming projects with powerful messages

His debut album, Secret Society, is expected later this year. Leading up to the release are two singles: Power in September and Old Soldier in October. The latter addresses the tragic Lekki Toll Gate massacre that occurred on October 20, 2020.

Shaping fearless futures

Looking ahead, 4OR envisions building a community of truth-telling fans and artists through 4EB Records. “It’s one thing to sound like a star, but another to truly embody it. Be real and stick to it,” he advises. His long-term goal is to help others embrace their authenticity without compromise.

Advice to rising artists

His message to up-and-coming talents is rooted in patience and faith. “The fact that you haven’t made it yet is a blessing. Let God build you so you don’t fall along the way.”

The shift has begun

To 4OR, this moment in music history feels prophetic. “A different spirit is in motion. What has been prophesied is coming to pass,” he says. For him, music is not just sound. It is a revelation.
