UCC JHS Students Celebrate Completion of BECE with Float

The Concerned Parents Association of University Junior High School on Friday organised a float for final-year students following the completion of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The event, dubbed “FLOAT ’26”, was held at the university campus and brought together students, parents, and school community members in a celebratory atmosphere.
Organisers said the initiative aimed to recognise students’ efforts and dedication throughout their academic journey and encourage them for the next stage of education.
The float, accompanied by a university security escort, featured a student procession across campus sections amid excitement and support from parents and well-wishers.
The Concerned Parents Association noted that the event also sought to strengthen unity and collaboration between parents, students, and the school community.
Many participants described the occasion as memorable and symbolic, marking the successful completion of an important academic phase.
