The current happenings in Ghana's Parliament House are quite eventful. The 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic has commenced its duties, with 275 Members of Parliament (MPs) elected during the December 7, 2024, general elections. The MPs were sworn in on January 7, 2025.

The current composition of Parliament shows that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) holds 183 seats, while the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has 88 seats. There are also four independent candidates.

Some notable MPs include John Dramani Mahama, the President of Ghana, as well as other prominent figures like Haruna Iddrisu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings. Your comment matters a lot to Us.
