The Shidaa Foundation has extended its support to education in the Oti Region with a generous donation of school supplies to three needy schools — Dodi Ata Kofi Basic School, Dodi Akum Basic School, and Dodi Papase DA/ARS Basic School.
In total, over 400 backpacks filled with essential learning materials, including pens, pencils, exercise books, mathematical sets, and other school supplies, were presented to pupils.
The donation aims to ease the financial burden on parents and provide students with the necessary tools to enhance teaching and learning. Representatives of the beneficiary schools expressed their gratitude to the Foundation for the timely gesture, noting that the support would go a long way in improving academic performance and motivation among students.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Roland Akwensivie, Founder of the Shidaa Foundation, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to promoting equitable access to education. He stated,
> “Education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities. At Shidaa Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and dream, regardless of their background or circumstance. This donation is a gesture of solidarity and hope — to remind these young learners that they are not forgotten and that their dreams matter.”

Mr. Akwensivie further encouraged the students to make the best use of the items and urged community leaders and stakeholders to continue supporting education at the grassroots level.

The Shidaa Foundation remains committed to empowering young people and supporting schools across the region to ensure that no child is left behind due to a lack of basic educational materials.
