The wife of renowned Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, Mrs. Miracle Adoma has issued a statement correcting misinformation regarding her husband's health and surgery.
In a detailed statement shared on her Facebook page following an interview granted by Mubarak Yakubu on Peace FM, where certain details about Kofi Adoma Nwanwani's medical treatment were allegedly misrepresented.
Mrs. Miracle Adoma clarified that while Yakubu is their son, he is not Kofi Adoma Nwanwani's Personal Assistant or Public Relations Officer. "He is a loyal son, but there are certain pieces of information he is not privy to," she stated.
She confirmed that some medical procedures have been successfully performed in Dubai but emphasized that her husband is still undergoing treatment. "We are not out of the woods yet, so we ask for your prayers so that my husband will regain his sight" she added.
Addressing another inaccuracy, Mrs. Miracle Adoma noted that the figures mentioned by Yakubu concerning the cost of surgery were incorrect. She assured that the accurate total cost would be disclosed after the completion of treatment, with the primary focus now being on saving her husband's eye.
Mrs. Miracle Adoma, who's also a queen mother, expressed deep appreciation for business moguls Dr. Kwaku Oteng and Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for their immense support during this challenging period. She particularly commended Dr. Kwaku Oteng for visiting her husband, offering financial aid, and regularly checking on him. She further thanked the public for their concern and support, and appealed for privacy as Kofi Adoma Nwanwani continues to receive treatment.
