A video showing two young boys attempting to cross a homemade bridge in a risky manner to come home from school at Asamankese Asuokaw has prompted President John Dramani Mahama to respond.

Concerned people have expressed displeasure over the video.

The student was seen putting their life in danger to cross a body of water in order to get to school in the widely shared SIKAOFFICIAL video.

President Mahama responded to the video by promising Asuokow inhabitants in the Eastern Region that the problem will be resolved quickly.

President Mahama wrote on Facebook."As we seek to urgently and permanently address the issue that the people and schoolchildren face, Owen Kwame Frimpong, the MP for Lower West Akim, visited the Asuokow community earlier today and assured them that the Eastern Regional Minister would also visit."

"We are committed to eliminating obstacles to healthcare and education throughout the nation as part of our mission to Reset Ghana," he said.
