In a unanimous show of support, Mercy Korang has been officially confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Fanteakwa South District Assembly in the Eastern Region, securing 100% of the votes from assembly members during an electoral exercise.

The confirmation ceremony, attended by dignitaries including the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, and the NDC Regional Chairman, Dr. Mark Oliver Kevor, marked a significant milestone in local governance as the newly confirmed DCE begins her tenure amid high expectations for development.
