Joana Gyan Cudjoe's Teacher Initiative Makes Significant Impact in Amenfi Central

The Amenfi Central district has witnessed a remarkable boost in education, thanks to the Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Teacher Initiative. Led by the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the initiative has provided vital support to 39 schools in the district, benefiting a total of 8,829 pupils and 137 teachers.

The initiative has been providing financial assistance to these schools, with a monthly allocation of GHS 84,240, totaling GHS 589,680 over a period of 7 months. The supported schools, including Agyedum D/A, Obing Methodist Primary, and Chichiso No.2, among others, have received funding ranging from GHS 8,400 to GHS 22,400 for 7 months, depending on the number of teachers and enrollment.
